I joined Bestfit Magazine as Art Director with a clear objective: to elevate the publication’s visual identity and strengthen its appeal within the competitive fitness and lifestyle sector. From the outset, I led a comprehensive redesign of the magazine, refreshing its layout systems, typographic style, imagery direction, and overall brand aesthetic.
Working across multiple issues, I introduced new visual templates, refined the editorial structure, and shaped a more contemporary approach to photography — ensuring every edition felt fresh, cohesive, and aligned with the magazine’s editorial voice. I collaborated closely with editors, writers, and photographers to create a more dynamic and engaging reader experience.
The transformation proved highly successful. Thanks to the strengthened visual identity and improved reader engagement, Bestfit was selected to become the official in-house magazine for David Lloyd Clubs after only a few issues, marking a significant milestone for the publication.
